A few simple habits keep your MyPicasso frame looking new.
The Front Panel Is Acrylic, Not Glass
MyPicasso frames use a clear acrylic panel rather than glass — lighter, and safer around kids. Acrylic needs slightly gentler care than glass, so a few habits go a long way.
Cleaning
- Wipe with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust and light marks.
- For anything more, use a small amount of an acrylic-safe cleaner on the cloth rather than spraying directly onto the panel.
- Wipe in gentle, straight strokes rather than circular scrubbing.
What to Avoid
- Abrasive cloths, paper towels, or anything textured — these can micro-scratch acrylic over time.
- Harsh solvents or ammonia-based glass cleaners, unless labelled safe for acrylic.
- Sharp objects near the panel when swapping artwork.
Everyday Use
The magnetic front is designed for frequent opening — swap artwork as often as your child brings home something new, and store previous favourites inside.
